Kier 2023 -We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding cake. Lisa was able to take our ideas and create exactly the cake what we wanted. All of the flavours we sampled were delicious and we decided on the vanilla/raspberry for one tier and lemon/passionfruit for the other. The cake itself tasted amazing, it stayed moist all day and was still delicious for a day or two after. We would highly recommend The Ruddington Cake Company to make your wedding cake.
Simone 2023 - Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our wedding date was 29th December and the venue was Somerset! Unlike many other companies saying no can do due to Christmas or the venue not local Lisa immediately responded with a positive yes. The flavours were all so delicious sounding, we opted for Lemon sponge with lemon & raspberry buttercream Red velvet with white chocolate buttercream Champagne sponge with strawberry & champagne butter cream. A couple weeks prior to the wedding I asked Lisa if it was possible to have a larger cake thinking the time of year this was a big ask but it wasn’t. Lisa organised supplying sturdier boxes for the cake to travel in. Her attention to details was fabulous despite not being able to assemble the cake at the venue. Lisa took time out of her Xmas to meet me and explain how to assemble the cake. Everyone commented on how delicious the cakes were, very flavoursome and all pretty much eaten on the day! I can not recommend Lisa and Ruddington Cake Company enough! Thank you for making our amazing wedding cake.

Sarah - 2022 WOW! Our wedding cake made by Lisa was simply amazing! We were blown away by how stunning it was when we saw it at our venue! It was exactly how we wanted it plus it was so tasty. Lisa 2025 - Lisa made us the most incredible cake for our wedding. We wanted a very simple two tier cake with a real floral decoration. She gave us lots of info about the type of flowers that are suitable and worked with our florist to get it right. The cake looked amazing and tasted delicious! We had tried the samples and were really spoilt for choice for flavours. We eventually chose chocolate with salted caramel buttercream and red velvet with miso white chocolate buttercream for our tiers. Both flavours went down a treat with our guests! Highly recommend!

The sample box made decisions tricky early on but we ended up with the most beautiful Red Velvet & White Chocolate and Lemon and Passionfruit sponges. Rubi 2024 -Lisa made our amazing wedding cake and we cannot recommend her enough! I was very last minute in deciding the flavours and the design and Lisa took her time to work with me and ensured the cake was everything we wanted and more. It was so simple and elegant yet the detail with the ribbon and the beautiful monogram and placement of the flowers just topped it off! So pleased with it and also had so many compliments asking who had done the cake.! Every tier tasted absolutely delightful even a few days after the wedding.
